JBL stunned the sports entertainment world by delivering on both his promises. JBL beat Eddie Guerrero again. But at the Bash, he captured the WWE Championship, as well. Fan favorite Latino Heat seemed to have the Texas Bull Rope Match won. He touched the first three corners in succession mere seconds before JBL did the same, illuminating a red light above each turnbuckle. When he dove above JBL to smack the fourth and final corner -- seeing that last red light shine -- it appeared he h...

John Cena overcame massive odds to retain his United States Championship at The Great American Bash, much to the dismay of riled General Manager Kurt Angle. In an elimination-style Fatal Fourway Match, Cena picked his spots and capitalized on his opponents' mistakes. He ended Rob Van Dam's night early, opportunistically rolling up the high-flying Superstar just after he had delivered a second Five-Star Frog Splash. While it's a devastating finisher, the splash has always taken a great de...

Former Kurt Angle protégé Charlie Haas took the right approach against the mammoth Luther Reigns on Sunday. Haas tried to outwrestle Reigns, hoping to nullify his opponents' size advantage. But Reigns' methodical style took its toll on Haas, who slowly wore down under fierce power and pressure. Showing Angle's influence, Reigns cut down Haas with a bone-crunching ankle lock. And at times, Reigns simply played to his size advantage, press slamming Haas with ease. In the end, Reigns canceled Ha...

Kenzo Suzuki may be fueled by hate, but big-match Billy Gunn came ready to rumble. Early, Gunn had the answer to every Suzuki assault -- displaying his experience and guile. But after Suzuki eluded the Fameasser, the tide dramatically turned. Suzuki employed a sequence of running knees, thrusts and kicks, ripping into Gunn. And after a low blow went undetected by the referee, Gunn's hopes for victory evaporated: Suzuki loaded up and delivered a modified backbreaker, which incapacitated Gun...

From the opening, Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio's game plan was to take to the sky -- peppering Chavo with an array of quick, acrobatic attacks. Perfectly on point, Mysterio climbed to the top turnbuckle, poised to launch. But Chavo's recovery caught the champ off-guard, and Guerrero's second-rope drop kick sent Mysterio tumbling to the outside. What would already have been a brutal fall was compounded when Mysterio caught his leg on the ring apron and then had it buckle beneath him...

He battled the Dudleys for control of his destiny -- then the Deadman sealed Paul Bearer's fate. The Undertaker was deeply conflicted during his a one-of-a-kind Handicap Match on Sunday against the WWE Tag Team Champions. His instincts told him to battle for his survival. Paul Heyman told him to take defeat (and a beating) for Paul Bearer's safety. And despite the most diabolical distraction of his entire career, ultimately the Phenom prevailed at The Great American Bash. But what fo...

Even though the champ didnt play to his level he is still one step ahead of the opponents, & that was proven when he won his 2nd wimbeldon in a row. Congrat to Andy Roddick for giving a fine display of tennis, but somehow the final lagged behind expectations yet was a great show. Hearty congrats to Roger Federar, already soken to be the best player to have played the sport.

Never liked soccer much, but I have been seeing soccer just for watching England in action, eventhough Iam from the Asian origin I loved to watch England in action eventhough they dont taste much victories. This time the English played like the champs through out the tournament but still out of it with bad luck. To start with Rooney got injured in the crucial quater finals against host Portugal but still leading in the half way with Micheal Owen brilliance. When the match was neturalized by ...
