There may have been missiles but I don't go with the bullshit "Loose Change" theories because I saw those planes hit the buildings. My nineteen year old says it was a conspiracy. I say "crap" because I saw it happen on TV ten minutes after it happened. This was a "Zapruder" experience and it was very real.

Opening the controversy was good as load of facts cropped up.

It was a missile damn you all, from a klingon submarine, cloaked under the water, until it surfaced, and launched a giant dildo shaped missile with wings that looks exactly like a commuter jet, from a penis shaped klingon submarine. That one that hit the pentagon at about the same time was from the Romulans, Also cloaked, look into it here...

Kevin Barret is the only crank who's devoted more hours of his life then anybody else I know to proporting the idea that the government was behind it. As supporting facts, he states that the majority of the Muslim world believes that we did this to ourselves. Made up Al-Kills-R-Us-Da, filmed the scenes on a hollywood set of them setting around congratulating each other on the destruction of the towers.

I find that disturbing, of course I'm not alone, what I find equally distrubing is guys like Bill O'Reilly trying to get him fired from his job, via influencing Gov. Doyle, to influence the UW system. Barret is a PT instructor in Islamic studies, and as part of the discussion of Islam in the world they spend a week talking about 9/11. Gee wonder why? He allows students to challenge him on his what we call, "conspiracy idea" and he calls truth, and also to challenge their own conception of what happened.

So what if he believes in a conspiracy, invents facts, by the time you get to college, i.e. are an adult, you need to be able to sift through the world's B.S. and accept and reject facts, ideas, and spin on a case by case basis. You also need to be able to stay open minded and be able to reconsider posistions. Only by reconsidering facts and posistions can you come back and strengthen already strong posistions or re-examine weak ones.

In science usually the simplest answer is the correct one, which is simpler, massive government conspiracy, or terrorist attack against a complacent and unacceptably unaware advesary?

I think that answer speaks for itself.

Its enough of beliveing these theories , people world wide should have witnessed it.

People world wide have witnessed it, and according to Barret, 90% of the muslim world believe we committed the acts to start a holy war.

Kinda give some creedance to lil whips post about Opinion in the Muslim is scary. Yeah it is in some circles and communities, but when you consider their opinion is based on the perception that we invade countries at will, and attack nations that don't conform with our world views it can start to make at least some sense.

The facts of what happened though speak for themselves, it was a devastating act of agression by criminal murders in the name of god. Who thought only of themselves when they planned and committed it.

How do those people comprehend what they saw. Do they create a theory about it, or do they wait for someone else to tell them what happened? With the benefit of added information over the period of the last six years, what is your interpretation?

I think I could have changed the title as theories and controversies.

It's nothing to do with believing in conspiracy theories, it's everything to do with questioning the official conspiracy theory, and finding it unsatisfactory.

Please tell me what parts you find unsatisfactory?

Deference, I agree that there is evidence that we aren't being told everything about the attacks.. however, I've never seen or heard any evidence that leads me to buy the conspiracy theories either... especially the ones about the Pentagon.

Remember, the passengers on the airliner called family and friends and told them what was happening. Were all those people part of the conspiracy?
