It's my understanding that the "reaction" shot of Bush was when the second plane hit. I was watching the news that morning, and for some time after the first plane hit they were still reporting that 'a small, commuter aircraft' had hit the WTC. I don't need a conspiracy theorist to tell me, I was sitting there and WATCHED the second plane hit.

The quote in question is in regard to the President claiming he saw the first plane fly in to one of WTC towers.

Bush is barely coherent at the best of times. I've always been of the opinion that it's better to suspect stupidity or simple error than conspiracy, particularly conspiracy on an enormous scale.

Parated2k, it's one thing to provide speculation as to why the President would have said what he did, it's another thing to paint another blogger as one providing such theory when there is nothing in this record to support that assumptive leap.
