FATAL FOUR WAY FOR WWE CHAMPION SHIP

WWE CHAMPION JBL, EDDIE GUERRERO, BOOKER T and Undertaker

Heidenreich foiled Undertaker's shot at capturing the WWE Championship yet again.

Just like at No Mercy, when the unstable client of Paul Heyman appeared out of nowhere to interfere in Taker's Last Ride Match with JBL, Heidenreich struck again at the Fatal Four Way at Armageddon.

Undertaker was preparing to put the finishing touches on JBL when Heidenreich stormed the ring and began to attack Taker.

With all three of the challengers seemingly out cold, JBL tried to pin Eddie Guerrero and then Booker T, but both men kicked out.

And before JBL could even get to Taker, the Dead Man popped up himself, ready to punish a petrified JBL.

But Heidenreich pulled Taker out of the ring and applied a choke hold on him. Meanwhile, Booker T was greeted with a Clothesline From Hell as JBL got the unlikely and exhausting victory to retain his WWE Championship.

WWE Tag TEAM cHAMPIONS RVD & Rey mysterio vs. Rene dupree & Kenzo suzuKI
The rematch was more like a rerun.

Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio, who only became WWE Tag Team Champions on the most recent SmackDown!, were able to retain their titles with a victory over former champs and rivals Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree at Armageddon in Atlanta Sunday.

RVD & Mysterio took control late in the match as Mysterio hit the 619 on Dupree, who was then quickly crushed by a RVD Five-Star Frog Splash for the victory.

Much like the match on the Dec. 9 edition of SmackDown!, Dupree and Suzuki weren’t able to sustain the momentum they gained early on. All four competitors looked exhausted as the match lasted more than 20 minutes.

Hiroko, Suzuki’s wife, also was chased from ringside by Torrie Wilson during the match, ensuring she would have no impact on the result.

U.S. CHAMPION JOHN CENA VS. JESUS IN A STREETFIGHT
John Cena, despite not being 100 percent, kept his United States Championship in resounding fashion at Armageddon Sunday.Cena would bloody and then beat Jesus in a Street Fight. Cena choked Jesus with cable wires and then battered his skull with the top of a trash can and metal street sign before connecting with the FU and easy cover.

When the match was over, Cena took back his steel chain, but not before knocking Carlito out with it to the delight of the Atlanta crowd. The victory served as some measure of revenge for Cena, who has been hounded by Carlito and his bodyguard for some time now.

DAWN MARIE vs. MISS JACKIE
charlie haas as special guest referee

Dawn Marie was the winner in the ring, but Dawn and fellow Diva Miss Jackie were both spurned by Charlie Haas by the time their match was over at Armageddon. With Haas serving as the special guest referee, Marie used a fistful of Miss Jackie’s tights to record the pin right in front of Haas, who decided to ignore the infraction.Haas then admitted to having an affair with Dawn Marie, broke off his engagement with Miss Jackie and called Dawn a “slut” before walking out of the ring, leaving both embarrassed women in the ring.

But when it came time for the 3-on-1 Handicap Match against Show, the 7-foot giant would prevail over the sadistic trio of Angle, Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak.Angle and his ruthless buddies would dominate the early going, but Show would rally, taking all three men out and saving the most damage for Jindrak, who was caught with an F-5 to end the match.Show received a good luck kiss from Joy Giovanni before the match.
