Y do people Blog
---------------------------

The main reason behind most of the bloggers is to express his/her opinion, apart from that publishing some info about themselves or about their site. The rate of Bloggers increases everyday it is estimated to be around 3% increase/day.

The nice thing about blogging is that some may comment on Ur views both on positive & in negative manner, indirectly U get various persons view about Ur article & U can compare U views with them how it matches , & when there is no reply it symbolises that not everybody is interested on Ur topic but it never says Ur writting skill is poor ,so keep publishing blogs & soon U may find a lot of reply ,indeed appreciation to a nice topic.

Of recent there are more bloggers because many web owners to improve their traffic see this as an excellent & simple idea of promoting their site [ Incidently I too follow it], another reason is to improve their ranking in search engines [as ur link is found on all article Ur Google page rank improves] this is used as an weapon, for more info blogs.vivekwwe.com.]

I personally Blog to share my views & knowledge with others in the field I have. Manytimes try to publish a good blog to get the appreciation of others, eventhough I am an average essay writer still finding it hard to put up an excellent blog, but slowly learning the skills of it.

Why do U blog ? [Y dont U answer it in the reply].

Sometimes I blog to get something off my chest, others to improve my writing, others because I am bored. I like being able to put forth views in a format where people can choose to read my opinions or not. And I can muse about things that are troubling me and get opinions from people who have no emotional investment in what I am wondering about.

Just as an aside, and this is only personal preference, so please don't take offence, but I find it irritating to read blogs where people use txtspk eg - U instead of you and Y instead of why. It interrupts the flow of the piece. But that's just me.

Blog on!

P.S And OF COURSE I blog because of Sir Pete. That's why I do everything I do!

I blog because Sir Pete does, of course.

I also blog because I find it to be a sort of catharsis. It's a great way to get things out of myself where I can deal with them more readily. I bloag at JU because it's unique in the blogging world because there is more of a sense of community here. It's a great venue to air your opinions and ideas while receiving feedback on the ideas as well as the wriing itself.

Speaking of which, I agree with Pete and Floozie; try actually writing your articles instead of using chat abbreviations. You are not pressed for time or space to actually write out your words. Personally I find it terrible to read andvery distracting. It also shows either a lack of writing ability or just plain laziness. No offense, just my critique.

Everyones here because of Sir Petey, didn't you know? He's the Daddy round here, hehe!

I blog because it lets me do the thing I love which is write, and I think it's slowly but surely inproving skill. Also you can get feedback on your writing, and meet some truely lovely individuals while you're at it!

Well said Sally. I also do it for the love of writing, which I failed to mention in my original comment. Practice makes perfect (or at least a litlle better in my case)

None would dispute my greatness and nobility.

Sally would be the perfect example of a young Maxwellian blogger. She came here doubtful and confused, but thanks to my words of inspiration and writing advice, she made the top ten blogs list. Good show.

I blog because in real life i just can't shut up. I always have an opinion or a story or want sympathy or.... blah blah blah and i think people get tired of listening - so i write it down instead.
Then, people can skim the first line and skip whatever part of the rest they want to, and i don't have to shut up or even care what anyone else thinks. I can just go on an on about what is going on in my life, what should be going on in my life, me, and my favorite subject, myself and every little thing i think of...
but that's just me
