Not a proper Gimmick

A Big Blog in the bloc its how he has to be described for his appearance. Bobby Lashley is one big time body builder. Erupted in the scene late last year and improved his wrestling skill ever since that. He might easily be the future WWE, but his public appeal hasn’t improved even-though his performances are. Has got a good finisher in the form of Dominator but still his gimmick and the role he plays in WWE doesn’t underline his presence, even the screen play writers are still finding a suitable role for him and till ask to continue with JBl and Booker T.
To assign a temporary role they have modified Booker T's Gimmick as King Booker, but the problem is Booker T's value in the WWE has gone down considerably and doesn’t look like a star for whom people will turn up for the show. When that’s the case there is no point in lashley having a gimmick with Booker since its gonna have no impact on his career what so ever. The writers should make sure a nice soft gimmick be given to him or something like a formation the way Batista had would do.

I would still suggest a Tag role be better for him rather than a dominator gimmick to start with. He as a powerful tag team partner with another youngster would do a world of good for his confidence as well as to improve his skill. The best case his transfer him to RAW and let him partner with Gene Stinksky for a dominant tag team.

Gene is another wrestler who with no proper gimmick lost his way completely. If these two can be tagged together as face gimmick something like APA they can catch some public attention in turn improve their skill and learn what business is all about. But rather if he is led opposite to rather less crowd pullers like Booker T I am afraid he might be another young wrestler found wanting to poor management.

I agree with some of your starting points. Lashley doesn't do enough outside of the ring, he has no camera presence. (Unfortunately, I can't watch Smackdown, so I don't know if he's gotten any better.) I've seen clips of the King Booker bit, and you're right that it doesn't work. BT has been on his way down for a long while now...

Pairing them against each other isn't helping anyone here.

Are they still mentioning Lashley's military background? I wonder why they wouldn't do anything with that... if he had an honorable discharge, they could match him against that stinking deserter Orton and he could thrash him week in and week out. I'd pay to see it.

Oddly, your suggestion of tagging him with Snitsky could work... if Lashley was more confident speaking in front of the camera. I really do hope that he's gotten better at that; he always seemed so awkward that I felt bad for him.

just as a side note, could you write something about DX being reformed. The switch from the heartbreak kid being the "leader" is interesting so far, but if they could just get road dog and billy Gunn from the NWA {TNA} and really reform the old DX now that would be like the four horsemen being reborn.

Hi pseudosoldier;

Well one thing seem clear U wanna see Randy get smacked, well if thats the case he is the right man.
But true to become a successfull wrestler U need to catch public attention by speaking more to them at them, Like how Rock Use
to do once, but he clearly lacks confidence and some successfull cheers from the public
could make him do it in the future.

Hi moderateman;

Regarding bringing back DX well it would be great for audience, but Vince not happy in
letting any formation take place again, but S it would be great idea to put Lashley in a formation like
that with HBK leading from the front, lashley could learn a lot from him.

I think Triple H {the game} has more draw now than HBK, and all in all is a better wrestler at this time. {if only he would dump that stupid pedigree} Ya Vince rules all with an Iron fist. Great business man though, one of the best.

HHH's evolution formation was instrumental in bringing up so called future of WWE Batista & Randy Orton, so some body else should do it other wise it will become the same old story, but the sad part is who else is there to play the lead for a powerful formation.
Clearly WWE lacks experience wrestlers.

I like the attitude in this guy, he looks like some one born to rule, how good it would be if there is gimmick between him Batista

True Bobby looks impressive with massive physic, but I do remember how many massive body builders went out even un noticed.
Guys like Shawn [With Roddy Piper], Max Mirini & Nathan Jones [Team Lesner].
At the same time there are less skill full persons like Orlando Jordan, some others who are being hyped but of no use.
What I like in this guy is the simplicity & the eager for success in his eyes.

He needs to learn a loads of thing before he could even be considered as a wrestler, so give him chance dudes, lets wait & see whether he delivers or not.
Batista was hyped very much but hasnt given a great performance yet.

Still working hard to catch public imagination by casting him against Booker in the Steel cage.
Steel cage, hell in a cell matches has become quite frequent now a days it brings no flair.

DX is great, but to include Lashley into it is like spoiling DX, I would say he is useless.

Lshely is certainly a talent guy he looks akwars because he doesnt have a proper strory line.
