Gaint domination

Will Great Khali be one of the greatest wrestler.

To be frank only time can say the answer. Great Khali's debut performance so far is amazing. The demolition of the Taker & Mesterio speaks for itself nothing need to be explained further. But to be a successful wrestler one should have motivation , self interest, variety & most of all hardworking skill.
You would have seen in the past wrestlers like Brock Lesner, The Rock faded away due to lack of motivation & interest in the business.
Rock could be excused for some reasons [even though personally I felt he missed his fans & now messing up with his fans as they are starting to forget about him] since he did give back something to the company which brought fame to his career. He was an active member in WWE for almost 10 yrs, but guys like Brock once they got the fame ditched his fans to goto an all complete different field NFL. I do agree he has his passion for NFL, if that’s the case he should be featuring in both when ever time permits or shouldn't have taken WWE at 1st choice.
It has happened in the past as well with players like Ultimate Warrior leaving the field once he was promoted.
I am not taking anything on the behalf of WWE, but certainly on behalf of WWE & the respective superstar fans.

Fine Lets come back to Khali, some how I feel he might belong to category like Nathan Jones, who will leave the business when they come into light. Its boring to see Kurt Angle on highlight all the time, but doesn’t mean that Edge and all should be given championship status. To an extent I cant understand how can they make Mesterio as a Heavyweight champion, how ever Mesterio as a heavy weight champ might pull the attention of some young kids.
Khali on the other hand is a raw talent, can be moulded into the frame to suit WWE accordingly, certainly will bring hell lot of fans into WWE. He is massive built way to tall for an average human being indeed can be called as Hulk in the reality. In any case McMahon has to be appreciated for Khali's move to WWE.
If a proper story line is set for him and made to serve WWE in a longer run certainly will help WWE and Khali himself.

Khali on the other hand should use this opportunity to settle down in the business, even though it might not be a long-term solution for him but should try to stick for quite some time to make himself popular among the mass. Once that’s been done its upto him to continue to either continue or leave the field. But these giant characters are generally used in WWE as a short term prospect to give some variety to the public, any Big character that lasted after certain time never lived to the same level when it originated.
For Instances take Visecera , started as MOM but no where now, same thing with Rosey now a comedian, case of Giant Gonzales, Mabel were short lived. Even for that matter Kane is not having the same scary image that he had when he tombstonned Undertaker on his debut performance.

So Sorry guys do not pin too much on Khali he might just be another short lived character in WWE 's variety wrestlers. Even if he is made to continue for long he might struglle to hold the image of a dominater.
On the other hand I feel there is quite a good future for perosns like Bobby Lashley, Chris masters since they can perform the variety & can adopt to suit various tyles of WWE easily compared to Khali.

But one thing for sure, even I am impressed by his performance.

Well Vince tries yet another monster character, I think it might just be a flop like how Giant Gonzales, Nathan jones all ended.
He might survive still Wrestle Mania '07 for a big match setup with Undertaker.

I dont think Gaint Gonzallez was a flop character, rememeber he played a Wrestle Mania, no ordinary gets oppurtunity to perform in Wrestlemania, Nathan Jones on the other hand was a much hyped player well befor he made his presence.

Its too much of a hype for a person who doesnt even know basic wrestling skills.
on Jun 16, 2006
Unless & untill he gonna be hyped people not gonna watch him,
and yes he doesnt have any wrestling skill but no body can say he is
a zero entertainer, he has pulled crowd's attention, people talk abt him now.

i think khali has a great deal of a future on smackdown,,but he must also be engaged with some other supestars other than undertaker.also he must switch brands and should build up a rivalry against ric flair, hhh, tommy dreamer, mick foley and such other SUPERSTARS.a great carrer for him will help himself as well as the wwe brand in a long term.but saying him as a 'variety'for audience is rong.

Well Khali has already sparked interest in many asian countries, and wwe's move to promote Khali as Indian worked out.
